Consultation description
The initial period consultation response was published on 25 July 2023 entitled "Consultation initial period response - DfE spending plans for 2023/24" informed by responses received in the first four weeks from 7 June 2023 to 5 July 2023.
Through this equality impact assessment (EQIA) DfE is seeking comment and feedback from the public on the decisions required and the impacts of those decisions. Responses to the consultation will inform the department's decision-making.
Budget allocations will be revisited where possible during the financial year. Funding may be reallocated to other priority areas depending on relative spend levels in each DfE business area. The EQIA and consultation responses will also be used to inform any such reallocations.
